Raised in an isolated, predominantly White environment, his worldview is deeply provincial. Outwardly, as an officer of the law, he knows he must maintain a certain level of professionalism, so he claims that he "doesn't see color" or care if you’re "white, yellow, black or purple." However, he’s suspicious and wary of foreigners, especially those he doesn't see as "American" enough.
